A + A Workwear Show

Our visit to this years A+A show in Düsseldorf was inspiring!

First of all it was incredibly busy showing that there is great confidence in the work clothing market

Second was the amazing range of new products on show, the increased development on anti-arc protective clothing and the improvement on product marking making it simple for H&S managers to identify is a real bonus

Carhartt had a good stand and we spent time discussing the development of the UK market - this is a new partnership for us and it looks like it will develop well and be a profitable venture for all parties.  New products are being loaded onto our performanceworkclothing site ready to launch in time for Christmas.

Sioen had their new electric arc garments on display, Tranemo and the Canatex & Aramid garments that are really economical option against Nomex.

Haix safety boots are a line we've been distributing for 3 years, their stand at the show was enormous and packed with visitors, clearly they popularity in Germany is secure and judging from the people I spoke to their market is growing despite the high cost of the footwear

Many new products, intelligent underwear, tick repellent socks, cooling vests to wear under race suits to name a few.  New developments with European leaders Kwintet with the long overdue rationalisation of the two mirror brands Fristads & Kansas – how many marketing hours went into the ne brand name Fristads Kansas!

As for lunch – well we know the Germans like a sausage – we didn’t go for the food!
