Better by Design
It’s important that we set the right mood – you know how it is when you decorate your own living space, the colours you choose are your reflection, it’s how you want people to see you – it’s the same in our world of workclothing we need to make sure you create the right reflection of your business by understanding your business mood and attitude.
The Mood Board – this is the scene setter, it is our interpretation of your company and how you want to be seen. It may be organic, natural fibres, free range food, earthy tones with soft accent colours to give your staff that calm and natural look. Equally it could be hard, metallic, strong colours with an assertive look – the Mood Board shows we understand how you want to be seen.
Colour Board – our version of the paint pot! Make sure the colours sit well together and that they’ll work within you business environment. This gives us chance to discuss and make sure the colours will really work well, that they don’t compromise the design for you or clash with your competitors.
Fabric Board – As is says, cuttings of fabric to reflect the colour and build up the message and image, you’ll see the textures and how they sit together – why do all this before the design? It stops us getting into the debate about style before we’ve sorted the mood the colour and the materials.
Button Board – Not just buttons! It’s about detail the small twists that add the ‘touch’ without compromise, the trim, door handles or finishing touch – we come back to this later as a part of the final design
Design Boards – the heart of the process! We will present the concepts of your design by providing story boards illustrating the look for your business – these are worked up from the initial mood board, through colour and fabric and use the detail from the button board. We'll show you garment shapes stylised images of how the look, clothing for each section of your business - the complete design!
Why the fuss?? well we care about each project, if we set the scene right at the start then we all know we are on the right path - once you've seen the right look the process from design to sample garments right through to delivery of goods is far easier for us all!
